Hand of Heaven: The Fallen Angel

Print

Winners write history and, boy, does this guy know it. He may have fallen from grace but he still upholds his honorable ways. The almighty may call him a villain, but he knows the truth.

The Fallen Angel, despite his looks, is a protector. He is all about keeping his allies alive even if that means putting his own life on the line. That low attack stat is simply a ruse. He’s a lot more dangerous than you think wielding that large broken sword. His abilities generally involve him weakening his foes so his allies can do better damage while keeping his enemies attention on him as well.

Lies and slander do not stop such a beautiful soul as this. Always remember, take everything you hear with a grain of salt.

Hand of Heaven: The Angel of Death

He’s well dressed. He’s professional. He absolutely LOVES his job. Everyone’s heard of this guy. The very personification of death itself. As an aspect he brings death swiftly his opponents on the battlefield. Watch your step because he’s most likely two more steps closer to you.

The Angel of Death plays exactly how you think. He’s an assassin style character who’s special quality is increasing his speed toward those who are low on health. The closer an enemy is to dying the faster he can catch up to them as his speed stat will increase based on how low that specific enemy’s health is. Keep in mind though, that he doesn’t have the best defenses himself so it’s best that he take enemies out when they’re by themselves. By the same token, keep in mind his ultimate attack, Heaven’s Light, which allows him to fly up into the air and then land wherever he wants attacking an enemy as he does so.

The Angel of Death is truly a scary opponent and one should really watch for him. Still, you can’t escape the reaper for death comes to us all eventually.

Hand of Heaven: The Courage

The Calm Before The Storm Border

There are some who are undaunted by the evils of the world. They are the saviors of the weak. Jumping into battle without a fear these amazing people protect all and blow right through their adversaries.

The Courage is the avatar of courage itself. He is all about rushing into battle and causing mayhem amongst his enemies while getting any allies out of trouble. Having qualities both as a fighter and a protector gives him great versatility. He can even combine these aspects to allow him greater survivability during a fight or scaring enemies off who may be trying to kill his allies. Once he and his allies have the upper hand he can even activate his ultimate to send them all rushing down as a wave of death upon the enemy base.

One needs courage to fight to the fullest and this guy has it in spades.

Hand of Heaven: The Heartless Man

Print

That hole in his chest and that comically toothy smile aren’t just for show. This guy is a truly monstrous beast. Some say he isn’t even human. His quixotic nature strikes fear into all who enter his path. A frigid pal falls on his surroundings, plants wither, and animals flee from his presence. If you should ever come across this guy then pray that he merely walks past. If not, then you better hope that there’s a benevolent after life because you’re about to meet it.

The Heartless Man is exactly as his name implies, merciless. Slow but sturdy, he walks forward without fear slowing his opponents as well allowing his teammates to catch up and pick them off. For the truly unfortunate he paralyzes them with fear and saunters over to finish them personally.

Death is kind in that it respects the living, but this guy doesn’t care. In fact, he can’t.

Hand of Heaven: The Speedy Little Dog

Print

The power of the cosmos. The infinite expanse that is the universe. All of it, represented by a cute little dog that enjoys running.

This little one is all about moving about quickly and getting a lay of the land. Not so much about power, The Speedy Little Dog is great for reconnaissance so you can get a full idea of what your enemies are up to. Both fast and flexible this pup can even jump from one lane to another so help out allies who are in trouble or even to take out enemies trying to run away. Eternally loyal, The Speedy Little Dog is a great addition to any team.

Hand of Heaven: The Amorphous Demon

Print

The Amorphous Demon is a waking nightmare. Truly a despicable creature. I don’t have to tell you to not underestimate her power. With qualities that sap enemy health and the ability to slide through the ground undetected you’ll want to keep track of her every move.

This Aspect’s all about causing chaos. She may not cause too much damage herself but keeping her foes on their toes is a great way to give her allies the upper hand. From poisoning the very ground you walk on to ensnaring you in her many tentacles you’ll either want to stay as far away from her as possible or find a way to take her out fast.

Hand of Heaven: The Justice Freak

Print

Our next soldier is The Justice Freak. This guy is all about destroying those he deems evil. Unfortunately, just like justice itself, he’s a little blind. OK, he’s literally blind. Hence, his passive actually makes it harder for him to land hits. But when he does get a punch in, oh boy, does it hurt.

The Justice Freak is built as a late game sweeper. You have to build him up early and then have him rain punchy justice on your foes to ensure your win. How do you do this, you might ask? Simple, his ultimate attack, Evil Catch, when used for a killing blow, will start a count down. Once he has used the attack to off five enemy Aspects then the debuff to his hit rating will disappear, normalizing it. After that, every kill will increase his attack power by 1 permanently.

If you can get him out early and use his abilities wisely then you’ll find this guy to be incredibly powerful. Just do your best to outlast your foe. After all, nice guys finish last, right?

Hand of Heaven: The Leap of Faith

Print

Now lets move on to the soldiers. Starting off we have The Leap of Faith. As the name implies she’s all about jumping into the fray without thinking. Thankfully, she has great maneuverability and will generally zip about keeping herself safe while landing incredible damage. By the same token she isn’t made for taking said damage either so you’ll have to be careful.

The Leap of Faith is great for scouting and assassinating enemy Aspects that have gone solo. If you want her to take on groups though then bring along a friend that can either protect her or heal her wounds quickly. Try equipping her with the Red Jewel or Crowd Controller to maximize her damage output. No matter how you play The Leap of Faith is great for picking off enemies and keeping control of the field.

Hand of Heaven: Asha, Creator of Life

Print

Asha represents the powers of life. Keep in mind, that doesn’t mean he’s so pushover hippy dippy peace lover. Life is both precious and fragile and no one understands that better than Asha himself. He protects life fervently and has become something a stealthy warrior watching over all, making sure that when their time comes its by his decision.

As such, Asha puts emphasis on living most of all. He gives bonuses to his allies that allow them to last longer and increases the power of healing effects. Even if an ally dies he’s use the energy they left behind the aid his other allies. Asha is deceptive in his actions but it’s all to make sure nothing perishes without meaning.

Hand of Heaven: Tomorrow, Creator of Thought

Tomorrow Card Border

Tomorrow is the creator of thought and so the very reason anything is sentient. Hopes, dreams, aspirations, fears, and just plain random actions are all part of her domain. It only makes sense that her play style would be to increase the properties of her soldiers so as to allow them to perform better.

That’s right, Tomorrow is all about making it so her Aspects and Minions can perform better by increasing their stats. Need more attack power? She’s got you covered. Need to fall back and take some hits? Then she’s ready to go. Need to rush in as fast as possible? Then you need only to think it. Tomorrow is all about changing up her own army to do what she wants as efficiently as possible. After all, brain over brawn, right?
